Nike - Why Drive?
This print ad began more ambitiously, originally intended to perhaps feature Jordan.
This comp was sketched by John Boiler. (Remember when art directors could really draw?)
It ended up as part of the annual sales book of ads for vendors.
The headline also ended up on a Nike t-shirt, and then when Michael Jordan opened his Jordan Golf Centers, he turned the headline around on shirts in his shop: “Why Fly When You Can Drive?”
